Lights, Camera, Action it's Comme des Garçon time!!!
Let the performance magic begin...at Comme des Garçon there is always playful drama.
It's my first time witnessing it in person and let's just say the presentation is just beautiful.
The wooden ramp created an extra dimension of drama to the already sculptural "Leigh Bowery" sensibility silhouettes. Avant Garde.
The sound of the model's heavy oversized punky oxfords/ chelsea boots created a sad but hopeful beat filling in the sound of the broken soundtrack of operas, ballads.
Much to describe the season of Spring. Transitional the mono chromatics of winter to the blossoming pinks of spring.Like flowers peaking there way through the cold black soil. Anew.
As the presentation came to close, and the applauses became a roar of bravo.
Rei Kawakubo was no where to be found, no shy hello, or a peek a boo. The audience eventually came up, and I fell in love even more with the magic of Rei Kawakubo world.
Can we have tea sometime? in Paris, Tokyo, L.A. you name the city and place.
Cheers to performance and here's to magic.
