What a whirl wind... in weather and in the subconsciously theme of modern circus streetwear, from the trapeze artist to the sideshow sea punk to the showgirl dancer.

Keeping it fresh with my Strawberry print bikini... next on my shopping list a daisy or water print swim suit perhaps a one piece... I just love shopping for swim wear. As a native California girl you always have to be ready to hit the water.
Cheers to the Queen of Punk Rock Fashion!! Dame Vivienne Westwood!! A celebratory party here in L.A. for the recently opening of theMet's Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition in which she collaborated many pieces as well as the Chaos collection. Since the 70's, Vivienne has always stayed true to herself, bringing the chaos to couture.
"When we started to do punk, we put all of these things to create a look of an urban guerilla- a rebel. It was a creation the evolved through our shop. When we started to do punk, I think it was the first time people saw clothes like ours, and they could buy them from our little shop. No one was wearing anything like it."
I can't believe it's already May. April was a crazy month; celebrating my half birthday in Palm Springs/ Coachella weekend uno,to finally settling down and doing my taxes... injuring my knee dancing and back to the desert for Coachella weekend dos.
I became really sick after Coachella weekend dos. That dust was not a healthy dust...gross I don't even want to seriously think about it what was in the sand storm.
I danced it off!! Knee injury and all...I danced my stresses away all through April. :)
OUTFITS...
Bustier were my top choices for keeping cool in the desert heat.
Flower and fruit still are obsession for prints. My half birthday white playsuit made me want to dance all day!!
Pretty in Punky white was the non-color of choice for this year's Met Gala. LOVE.
A smart choice to wear, most would expect... oh, it's punk let's wear all black...that's what the norm might say.No it's not goth it's punk.White is so punk rock, these dresses above are couture way to the classic punk distressed white tee. Nicole Richie's white distress up do hair makes the look next level of cool.
No One is punk rock like a Vivienne Westwood, she would have been my designer of choice for this event and well probably always. Christina Ricci totally rocked this Vivienne Westwood plaid number. And as always SJP looking fab in her faux mo-hawk head piece by Phillip Treacy. Everyone always looks their best at a gala but not everyone makes it to the best of. Cheers to Punk.
Dream on it. Let your mind take you to places you would like to go, and then think about it and plan it and celebrate the possibilities. And don't listen to anyone who doesn't know how to dream.- Liza Minnelli
