Bernadette Peters has become such a late 80's but early 90's a fashion icon to me...her role as an aspiring hat designer in slaves of New York is quirky and fun, you just can't help falling in love with her... And her hats are straight out cool.
One of my favorite part in this film is the lovely transgender Supremes singing "Love is an itching in my heart" in the Streets for of New York.
